Marxism in series Fool Me Once

A popular series that has recently just aired on Netflix called "Fool me Once" illustrates the power of the rich in society no matter the rules and consequences set out. The series is a thriller and starts with the murder of Joe Burkett which the series continues on to unveil the secrets that came to light with the search of his murderer. Joe Burkett is from a billionaire family who owns a pharmaceutical company and it is shown in the series many times how rich the family is. Secrets revealed include the use of power and money to hide murders committed by the family and also to cover up the trials about their medicine which was revealed to have life-threatening side effects. Despite it being a very entertaining show, it also showed some real situations which are happening and can happen in our society today concerning the working class and the rich. The rich can easily manipulate using money despite there being good people who are trying to get the truth out.
Marxism takes a look at the differences in working classes of society and the effects thereof. It is theorized that there are numerous social and political effects because of the difference in money and it is true. This series takes a dramatic take on the influence of the rich and powerful in schools, workplaces, communities, and especially the working class. The drugs distributed by the billionaire family were effecting the world population but one working class person with no wealth could not back up a claim against the company alone. This is the difference that is very much evident and true even today.

Have you watched this series and have any other examples of social effects? How can we improve situations like this?
